Evolution Editing and Writing was established to help you become a better writer. It's that simple.

I am a UConn Journalism Department alumnus, with more than three decades of work experience in writing and editing in health care, higher education, advertising, fundraising, nonprofit, small business, and freelance environments.

I learned writing under the eyes of professors who deducted a full letter grade for each typo, and who drilled into us the obvious-but-forgotten concept of respecting the reader. I'm passionate about the written word and the joy of editing.

Writing doesn't come naturally for many people, and the college admissions process is difficult for students and families to navigate. Let me help by working collaboratively with you to discover the writer inside.

Is your college admissions essay disjointed? Wordy? Are you struggling to tell your story? I can help.

For $250, I will meet with you over Zoom or Teams for up to 30 minutes, either to review your first draft or help take a concept and turn it into reality.

Then, I'll work with you to edit and revise your essay so that the final product is exactly aligned with your vision for it.
